Peter Tunwell became Managing Director in 1990 having joined TTG in 1985. He is responsible for leading all management and administrative functions including determining strategy, structure, and guiding team members on project related issues or business matters.

Peter continues to be actively engaged on projects particularly in the initial inception, feasibility, design development, statutory consent and analytical planning stages. During detail design, and construction phases he undertakes a quality control role. Peter has extensive experience of commercial/retail focussed projects and providing Clients with representation on Developers Shells AFL, lease and other legal documentation.

He continues to lead Client teams delivering both new convenience stores and Shopping Centre based projects. For the past 3 years Peter has led the ttg teams working in both the USA & Italy with 6 completed stores and 4 more on site, delivering approximately 600,000 sqft sales space. Crucially Peter offers solid and directive leadership to his personnel in both the management of ttg and of its commendable/proven track record.

Peter Stone joined the practice in 1985, becoming a Director in 1994. A Chartered Architect, Peter has specific responsibility for managing the team delivering retail projects for a leading High Street retailer, with involvement in all aspects of the projects from design concepts to delivery.

He has a demonstrable track record with the experience and skills required to undertake projects with new/emerging retail concepts, working with specialist concept designers to achieve deliverable design solutions, value engineered standards for widespread implementation through roll out formats and programmes for national implementation. He is able to offer context and experience to either a standard implementation or the challenges of new and complex problems.

Having qualified as an architect in 1984, Dermot Brady joined TTG Architects in 1985 and became a director of the practice in 1994. He has gained extensive experience of undertaking a wide range of commercial projects from inception through to completion on site, the majority of which were in his capacity as director.

He has been responsible for managing project teams within the practice including client liaison, resources and programming and completed projects have included retail shell and fit-out schemes, offices, airport projects, cinemas, hotels, food courts and residential developments.

Over the past eight years he has led a team in delivering a variety of new retail stores throughout the U.K, both new build and major refurbishments, in shopping centre and High Street locations including four new ‘flagship’ stores.

Iain Whittington joined TTG in 1988 and became a director in 1994. Iain principally focuses on delivering the Developer led projects that ttg architects undertake. A major shopping centre development and a town centre improvement plan in Wales underpinned Iain’s experience of managing large complex development work. These include a range of new build projects for major retail clients.

He is currently undertaking asset management developments with a leading UK development company on two of their retail centres. Iain has also recently been leading the practice’s team on the competition winning design for a new ‘green’ supermarket; a joint venture between a leading supermarket group and their sustainable developments partner.

Iain is our Director responsible for the company’s IT systems and software and is currently managing the implementation of BIM across the practice.
